  1. I applaud you all for standing for what is right. This management have been messing w/ my mother for far too long & honestly, I’m just about fed up w/ this non-sense. They are definitely out if control. My mother herself has been a resident for over 30 + years there are many long time residents dealing w/ unlawful treatment. It almost makes them feel like they are ready to throw them out to the street. Smh! Every conflict w/ them leads my mother to the hospital. I’m fed up w/ it & if anyone knows my mom, she has heart conditions. Smh! These ppl are doing harm to all of the residents that have never had any problems before. Thank you, Evie.

  2. Thank you for being the voice of this community. I grew up in Villa Borinquen and have many fond memories of it. It is sad to see what has become of it. This management is out of control and has lost the respect, trust and communication with it’s tenants. The Villa that I grew up in, management and tenant worked together for the betterment of the community. Now it seems that they have other intentions and want to give everyone presently there the boot.

  3. Its time to kick all those people out of Villa. It’s time to improve the city not keep it open with people who don’t work and like to live off the system because its a subsidized rent. As for ms. Gaetom. She’s too much of a brownnoser to understand that. With that being said good luck, god bless and goodnight.

  4. It’s a shame to see what the people in this complex are going through. My heart goes out to every person there who each have a story of their own. Also to the anonymous post. Mostly all the tenants there work hard to make sure they have something for their families and many there are retired as well as seniors. It’s unfortunate that you feel the need to express yourself that way. As for Ms.Gaetan she also has her own story and it took a lot of guts for her to stand up to a bunch of bullies alongside many others who were willing to stand with her. I grew up in Villa and it has always been corrupted. I’m glad the people are speaking up. I hope your voices are heard. blessings!

  5. It is such a blessing to live in a country in which even the most ignorant, prejudice and uninformed humans are still guaranteed the freedom of speech. To anonymous I feel the need to clarify a couple of things. With all due respect to your opinion, being in Public Assistance is not synonymous to being trash or lazy, even though like in everything in life there are exceptions. Villa Borinquen tenants are composed of a huge variety of people among them many active as well as retired professional individuals. Not everyone is entitled to section 8 or any kind of subsidies. A lot of people pay market rent. In any event all individuals regardless of creed, race, social status, even you deserves basic respect and fair treatment. It would be highly appreciated if at least you get your facts in order prior to elicit an opinion. Don’t put down other people because somehow you feel superior to them. Remember that the rules of the game are subject to change at any time even for you. May you continue to be blessed with happiness and a long life.
