A third man has been charged with a fatal June Jersey City shooting that killed a 34-year-old Newark man, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced.

Dahmar Robinson, 22, of Newark, is charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder,  unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and receiving stolen property, Suarez said in a statement.

He was arrested yesterday at the Morris County Correctional Facility, where he was being held on unrelated charges.

Two co-defendants, Quadre Domnie, 22, of Jersey City, and Jekhi Wade, 19, of North Plainfield, were arrested on Monday, July 25th and are being held at the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

On Sunday, June 12th, at approximately 11:15 p.m., the Jersey City Police Department received a report of shots fired in the area Forrest Street and Martin Luther King Drive.

An injured victim of the shooting – later identified as Kyle Howard, 34, of Newark – was privately transported to Jersey City Medical Center.

He was pronounced dead at approximately 12:45 a.m. on June 13th.
