Hudson County Sheriff’s Office arrests 37 in first crime sweep of 2020

The Hudson County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37 people accused of an array of misconduct including endangering the welfare of a child, kidnapping, and failing to register as a sex offender in their first crime sweep of the year.

“Our Office remains committed to doing everything possible to protect the residents of Hudson County,” Sheriff Frank Schillari said in a statement.

“The sweeps performed during 2019 were very successful and we are looking to continue that sort of success this year. My officers will continue to work tirelessly to protect and serve our community.”
