“The City of Hoboken, Hoboken Family Alliance, and Hoboken Public School District have partnered with ICan Bike to offer a free Hoboken Bike Camp this summer and volunteers are wanted!,” the city wrote in a Nixle alert this week.

“The camp aims to teach individuals with disabilities how to ride a two-wheel bike. The program offers 75-minute sessions for five days starting on June 26 at Hoboken High School. Volunteers can choose which 75-minute session they are interested in working.”

All volunteers will be expected to complete a mandatory training at Hoboken High School, 800 Clinton St., on Sunday, June 25th at noon.

“When you volunteer at Hoboken Bike Camp you are providing individuals with disabilities an opportunity to achieve something they’ve never accomplished before. Thanks for joining us!,” the registration form says.

Anyone interested in registering can do so here.
