“As we prepare to take office, I want people involved who understand operations from the ground up and know how to identify ways to improve service, increase efficiency, and deliver better results for residents,” Ashe-Nadrowski said in a statement.

“Scott and Mina bring a tremendous combination of technical expertise, leadership experience, and commitment to public service. Their guidance will help lay the foundation for a Department of Public Works that is responsive, efficient, and prepared to meet the needs of our community.”

The DPW Transition Committee is tasked with reviewing operations, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing recommendations that will help ensure Bayonne delivers high-quality services, while maintaining/modernizing critical infrastructure.

Sisk is a lifelong Bayonne resident with more than three decades of experience in fleet management, operations, logistics, infrastructure support, and team leadership.

He currently serves as fleet operations and client success manager for Reliable Paper Recycling in Jersey City, where he oversees more than 200 fleet units, manages over 100 employees, and is responsible for millions of dollars in assets and inventory.

He previously served as director of fleet operations for the Nacirema Group, managing more than 240 vehicles and equipment units while supporting large-scale environmental, demolition, waste management, and snow removal operations.

Further, Samuel joins the committee with more than 15 years of experience in engineering, construction management, infrastructure, inspections, and real estate development.

He currently serves as a civil engineer with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and has previously held leadership and inspection roles with the New York City Department of Buildings.

There, he worked closely with public agencies, developers, contractors, and community stakeholders.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Samuel is a Bayonne property owner, entrepreneur, and founder of Lavaccino Café.

Ashe-Nadrowski, a former City Council president and the first woman ever elected mayor in the Peninsula City, has already made several announcements about her administration this month.

For example, Andrew Casais will be coming on board as business administrator, with her brother, retired Police Lt. Jimmy Ashe – her brother – to serve as public safety director, both as HCV first reported.

She has also unveiled Ray Greaves and Hudson County Building Trades Council President Pat Kelleher as the co-chairs of her Labor and Workforce Transition Committee, which all came after rolling out a public portal for municipal jobs and boards.

The new mayor and City Council, where all five of Ashe-Nadrowski’s runnings mates were victorious, will be sworn in on July 1st.
