“Ray and Patrick are two highly respected labor leaders who have dedicated their careers to advocating for workers, creating opportunities, and strengthening our communities,” Ashe-Nadrowski said in a statement.

“Their combined experience, knowledge, and commitment to working families will be invaluable as we prepare to build an administration that listens to workers, partners with labor, and creates pathways to opportunity for Bayonne residents. I am grateful for their willingness to serve and excited about the work ahead.”

She added that this committee will help identify priorities and recommendations that support workers, strengthen workforce development programs, encourage economic growth, and ensure labor voices are represented as the new administration takes shape.

Greaves has served with the Amalgamated Transit Union International, the New Jersey Transit Board of Directors, and was also the Bayonne 3rd Ward councilman from 2010 to 2014.

He has also been a member of the Bayonne Zoning Board, the Bayonne Board of Education, among other numerous local civic organizations.

Additionally, Kelleher has played a significant role in advancing project labor agreements, strengthening workforce development initiatives, and fostering partnerships that support economic growth throughout the region.

He also serves as Hudson County Business Agent and Assistant Business Manager for Plumbers Local 24, bringing decades of hands-on experience in organized labor and workforce development.

This announcement follows Ashe-Nadrowski opening a job and board portal last week, with John Minella tapped as the chair of her transition team and Maria Valado brought in as the vice chair, both as HCV first reported.

Ashe-Nadrowski was elected in a landslide last month, becoming the first female mayor-elect in Peninsula City history. Her City Council candidates also swept and they will all be sworn in on July 1st.
