On April 11th at 12:19 a.m., Secaucus police officers responded to the Extended Stay Hotel, located 1 Meadowlands Parkway, on a guest who reported that their 2014 Nissan N20 was stolen from the parking lot, Miller said in a statement.

Then at 8:24 a.m., the vehicle was recovered by Wallington Police on Main Avenue. Secaucus police detectives responded to Wallington and began to conduct a follow-up investigation.

As a result, detectives identified Jonnathan Montoya, 36 of Wallington, as the suspect involved in this stolen motor vehicle.

Then earlier today, detectives from the Secaucus Police Department arrested him at his residence in Wallington.

“Secaucus detectives will work tirelessly to apprehend individuals who commit crimes in Secaucus. I praise their diligent work, but I thank them for their dedication,” Miller added.

Montoya was arrested and charged with theft of a motor vehicle and, as a result, he was lodged in the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
