According to her aunt, Clarissa Carrasco, the family’s “warrior princess” will hold viewings at the Jorge Rivera Funeral Home, located at 4543 John F. Kennedy Blvd., both today (April 23) and tomorrow (April 24) from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m.

Additionally, the funeral mass is set for this Saturday, April 25, at the St. Joseph of the Palisades Church, located at 6401 Palisades Ave., at 9:15 a.m.

Finally, the burial will immediately follow the funeral mass at Fairview Cemetery, 500 Fairview Ave. in Fairview.

Sevilla united the West New York community, with $26,718 donated to the family via their GoFundMe page.

At West New York’s International Women’s Day event at Son Cubano last month, Jennifer Grom, Sevilla’s teacher, talked about how important, and successful, the town’s efforts to help this family have been.

  1. Such a shame how this child had to suffer at such a young age. Can’t understand how anybody believes in a “merciful” boogey man in the sky after seeing this. Visit a cancer hospital for children and you will witness pain and suffering at its best and then tell me you still believe. What is another shame is the answer to EVERYTHING is money. Anything that happens throw money at it. Seems money eases everybody’s suffering.
