A Brooklyn man was arrested with 200 grams of heroin, with a street value of $14,000 in Jersey City las week, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced.Â

Hinginio Ventura, 32, of Brooklyn, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute (heroin) and possession of CDS with intent to distribute while within 1,000 feet of a school, Suarez said in a statement.
On April 13th, following a short investigation, members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force and the Newark Division of the Drug Enforcement Administration arrested a Ventura after 200 grams of heroin were found in his car, officials said.
The street value of the total quantity of heroin seized is approximately $14,000. Ventura was arrested without incident by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Jersey City, police said.
Suarez also credited the Newark Division of the Drug Enforcement Administration and
Hudson County Sheriff’s office K-9 Unit for assisting with the arrests.
