Police: Virginia woman arrested in Hoboken after allegedly pulling gun during argument

A Virginia woman was arrested in Hoboken after allegedly pulling a gun during a verbal argument yesterday evening, police said.

Lucinda Borque, 31, of Virginia, was charged with aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon (firearm), according to Police Det. Lt. Jonathan Mecka.

She was arrested yesterday at approximately 5:30 p.m. in the area of 2nd and Harrison Streets. The arrest came after officers were dispatched on the report of two woman involved in a dispute.

Mecka told HCV that while a weapon was not recovered, the aggravated assault charge came due to Borque pointing the weapon at the other woman.

Her charges were placed on a warrant and she was transported to Hudson County Correctional Facility, authorities said.
