A man was robbed at gunpoint in Bayonne for $500 sneakers after arranging the sale to two men online, police said.

Yesterday at about 3:57 p.m., a 20-year-old victim reports that while conducting a sale of sneakers to two men on West 30th Street, which he arranged online, one of them brandished a handgun, according to Police Capt. Eric Amato.
They robbed him of the merchandise, then fled the scene in their vehicle. The merchandise was valued at $500 and the matter remains under investigation, police said.
No additional information was immediately available.
