A man was charged with charged with drunk driving on Christmas Even after striking Secaucus Town Hall, Police Chief Dennis Miller said.

Hugo Brito, 30, of Jersey City, was charged with driving while intoxicated and exhibiting a false government document, according to Miller.

On Christmas Eve at approximately 2:26 a.m., a car struck the Secaucus Municipal Building, located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road.

During the investigation, police arrested Brito on the aforementioned charges. He also received four additional motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible party, authorities said.
