Police: Bayonne man attacked in the street early Thanksgiving morning, no arrests made

A Bayonne man was attacked in the street early Thanksgiving morning, getting hit in the back of the head from behind with an unknown object, and no arrests have been made yet, police said.

On Thanksgiving around 1:47 a.m., a 29-year-old male victim reports that while standing in the area of 15th Street and Broadway, an unknown individual struck him in the back of the head with an unknown object, according to Police Lt. Eric Amato.

The actor then fled the scene and the victim was transported to the Jersey City Medical Center to be treated for a head injury, officials said.

No arrests have been made in connection to the incident and no further information was immediately available.
