The North Bergen Police Department promoted one officer to lieutenant and two others to sergeant, while also swearing in 11 new officers at a Township Hall ceremony today.

Gleny Henry earned the rank of lieutenant, while Eric Crafton and Indira Cabera now have the distinction of sergeant.
“Each of these officers has demonstrated the highest level of professionalism, leadership, and dedication to public safety. Their promotions reflect their hard work and the trust we have in them to continue making North Bergen a safer place for all residents,” Mayor Nick Sacco said in a statement.
Police Chief Robert Farley, Jr. highlighted the significance of these promotions in strengthening the department’s leadership and ability to serve North Bergen effectively.
“These officers have earned their new ranks through years of dedication, training, and service. We are confident they will continue to lead by example and uphold the highest standards of law enforcement,” he asserted.
Additionally, the following officers were sworn in:
● Christian R. Angulo
● Angel L. Apraricio
● Miguel A. Cardenas
● Christian Correa
● Andres L. Faife
● Ishmael Gomez
● Bryan Heredia
● Kiana Rosado
● Michael V. Santini
● Wellington Tobar
● Kevin D. Zambrano
These officers also served within the NBPD as part-time SLEO II officers prior to gaining their new titles.
“Today’s ceremony is not only a proud moment for the officers being promoted and sworn in, but also for the entire North Bergen community. These men and women represent the very best of our police department,” added Public Safety Commissioner Allen Pascual.
“Their commitment to public service and the safety of our residents is unmatched, and I know they will continue to serve with integrity, professionalism, and dedication in their new roles. I’d also like to thank Township Administrator Janet Castro for her role in getting these promotions done.”
