A man was killed in an “apparent industrial accident” at a North Bergen recycling plant, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office confirmed this evening.

“The Hudson County Regional Collision Unit has responded to Dell Avenue in North Bergen to investigate the death of an adult male in an apparent industrial accident. More information to follow,” the HCPO tweeted.
Lincoln Recycling, located at 4711 Dell Ave., is the only industrial site located on that street.
The Daily Voice reported that the worker was killed after being pinned against a wall by a trolly cart and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No further information was immediately available.
