Hoboken police seeking public’s help regarding shots fired incident that occurred last week

The Hoboken Police Department is seeking the public’s help regarding a shots fired incident that occurred on Harrison Street last week.

On Tuesday August 19th, at approximately 10:00 pm, Detectives and Uniformed Officers responded to the 200 block of Harrison Street on a report of shots fired, according to Det. Lt. Edgardo Cruz.

Officers responded to the location and spoke with the victim who states he was approached by an unknown person who began to shoot in his direction, authorities said.

The victim, nor anyone else, was injured by the shots. The unknown person had left the scene and was last observed fleeing south on Harrison Street. The detectives are currently investigating the incident and are seeking help from the public, police said.
