U.S. Rep. Albio Sires (D-8) has endorsed former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for president, stating “I am impressed with her strength, her experience and her determination to keep our nation safe.”

“I am endorsing Hillary Clinton for President today for many important reasons. As a Member of the House Foreign Relations Committee, I worked closely with Secretary Clinton and I am impressed with her strength, her experience and her determination to keep our nation safe,” he said in a statement released minutes ago.
“I am also confident that Hillary is fully committed to the comprehensive immigration reform that is so important for our nation’s future. I believe that Hillary Clinton is honest and sincere and well prepared to be an excellent President for our great nation and I am very proud to support her.â€
Sires’ endorsement does not come as much of a surprise, given that Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders has trailed Clinton significantly in delegates and superdelegates for months.
Furthermore, the Hudson County Democratic Organization gave an emphatic endorsement of Clinton at a press conference at the Brennan Court House in Jersey City last month.
The Hudson County delegates for the Clinton campaign are Jersey City Councilwoman-at-Large Joyce Watterman and former Assemblywoman Joan Quigley.
Zzzzzzz Surprise!
Thanks for nothing Albio. Cuban Americans hold a lot of respect for freedom being so many have lost it. Shame on you Albio. Political whoring at its worst.
I am voting for Eloy J Delgado in this election and I encourage everyone in Hudson County to do the same!
Nice to have a NJ Congressman that lives in Florida.
