Presidents George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama are were welcomed to Jersey City today by Mayor Steven Fulop and his wife Jaclyn shortly before the Presidents Cup tee off.

The prestigious golf tournament, hosted by the PGA at the Liberty National Golf Course, welcomed the last three U.S. Presidents on the opening day of their four-day event.
The hosting mayor tweeted it was “a huge honor” to welcome them to Jersey City.

The biennial event has a team of American golfers squaring off with competition from around the world (the International Team) and the first match began at 1:05 p.m., in a contest that pitted the USA against South Africa.
