Bayonne COVID-19 cases increase just 4 to 546, recoveries up to 141, OEM says

Bayonne’s active COVID-19 cases have increased just four since yesterday, bringing their total to 546, with recoveries reaching 141 and no new fatalities reported.

“The number above (546) reflects only the Bayonne residents that are CURRENTLY COVID-19 Positive. We have 141 Bayonne residents that are RECOVERED,” OEM said in their daily update.

Yesterday, the Peninsula City reported being the first Hudson County municipality to have an overnight drop in coronavirus cases.

While they saw an upward trend again between Monday and Tuesday, it was a very modest one.

Additionally, no new deaths related to the coronavirus were reported, leaving their total at 39.

This afternoon, the New Jersey Department of Health revealed that there are 11,636 COVID-19 cases in Hudson County, the second most in the state by county, and 525 fatalities, the third most in the state by county.
