“#Hoboken: Crews are responding to a leak at the corner of 15th & Clinton. This is a localized repair, impacting one block. 8” main will be isolated and repairs are set to begin.
We will continue to update. @CityofHoboken @HobokenOEM,” Veolia tweeted just after 10 a.m.

Water main breaks in the Mile Square City are nothing new, not even on major holidays, with a 16-inch break occurring in the early morning hours of Thanksgiving, the first of three in a five-day span.

As of this writing, neither Veolia or the city had provided a Christmas update on the repairs.
