A 57-year-old male is in critical condition at Jersey City Medical Center-Barnabas Health after being stabbed inside a Jersey City bar early this morning, according to a spokesman from the medical center.Â

Jersey City Medical Center spokesman Mark Rabson told Hudson County View that a 57-year-old man was stabbed in the stomach early this morning, requiring the trauma team to be assembled to perform surgery.
The stab victim is currently in critical condition, Rabson also confirmed.
According to police radio transmissions, the stabbing occurred around 2:30 a.m. this morning near a bar on Monmouth Street.
Jersey City spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill said the stabbing happened at the Barge Inn, located at 324 Third Street – which also has an entrance on Monmouth Street.
She did not respond to a follow-up email asking if any arrests have been made in connection to this incident.
