The Union City DPW, whose 27th St. facility has a number of large holes in the roof covered by tarp, was ordered by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration – better known as OSHA – to vacate the premises back in February.

During a post-event press conference where he was endorsed for the June 2015 Democratic primary by Bayonne Mayor Jimmy Davis, DeGise said the county will likely provide a number of resources to allow the Union City DPW to run effectively before the winter season hits.

Union City Mayor Brian Stack could not immediately be reached for comment.
