Trustees Antonio Graña and Leslie Norwood are running alongside Elizabeth “Lizy” Velez as part of the “Leadership that Delivers” team, which they announced at the beginning of this month.
Trustee Alex De La Torre, who ran with Graña and Norwood in 2022, is not seeking another three-year term.
There is also a two-person slate in the race: Laura Block, an “extended team member” of the Hoboken Public Education Foundation, and Tim Smith, a board trustee for the Hoboken United soccer club.
Additionally, Russ Koyfman, a published author and a father of three, is running under the “Trailblazers for Education” slogan, while perennial candidate Pat Waiters is giving it another try under the “Integrity Respect Transparency” banner.
The fall ballot will be packed for Mile Square City voters, with the mayor’s seat, the three council-at-large seats, and 6th Ward council seat all up for grabs with up to five full slates possible.

shame on ailene
If we didn’t have Ravi, Ailene could get top honors for “Shame of the City.”
Is the BOE hiding another bloated High School construction plan ?
Can you afford the tax increase such a plan would require on top of the ever increasing City taxes ?
They have proven that they can’t be trusted !
