The six promotions saw Lieutenant Marcos Garciga and Lieutenant Erwin Moreno named to Captain, Sergeant Kareem Shabazz and Sergeant Edward Rivera moving up to lieutenant, and Officers James Campoverde and Yosbel Mompellier receiving the rank of sergeant.

Two of the recruits will be attending the new Hudson County Police Academy while the other three will be attending the Bergen County Police Academy for approximately six months.

“It always brings me great joy to swear in new Law Enforcement Officers that serve our community and keep the residents of our Town safe,” added Rodriguez.
