West New York Mayor Felix Roque praises President Obama’s Executive Order

West New York Mayor Felix Roque is praising President Barack Obama’s Executive Order, stating that the immigration reform will create “a fair roadmap to citizenship.”

“This act by our president is an unprecedented tsp to enact an immigration reform that creates a fair roadmap to citizenship for millions of immigrants who are eagerly waiting to contribute to the American fabric,” Roque said in a prepared statement.

“They are members of our West New York community and churches, and they are our friends and family members. They are also hard workers who came to communities such as ours to build a better life for their families.

Also a pain relief doctor, Roque also noted that Obama’s Executive Order should “deter illegal immigration” and be a positive move for the workforce across the country.

Roque joins other Hudson County Democrats State Senator Nick Sacco (D-32), also the North Bergen mayor, and Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop in applauding Obama for the action.
