UPDATED: Union City police searching for 58-year-old man suffering from Alzheimer’s disease

The Union City Police Department said about an hour ago that the missing 58-year-old man suffering from Alzheimer’s disease has been “found in [the] Bayonne hospital.”

“Be on the look out for one of our missing residents with Alzheimer’s who was seen yesterday around 4 p.m. near his home in Union City, New Jersey,” the UCPD posted on Facebook about an hour ago.

The missing person Baltazar Guzman-Ortiz, 58, suffers from Alzheimer’s disease.

Authorities say two possible destinations are within the vicinity of 20-25th Street near Bergenline Avenue in Union City and/or Summit Avenue in Jersey City.
