Union City Parking Authority says ‘all enforcement is suspended’ due to coronavirus pandemic

The Union City Parking Authority has announced that “all enforcement is suspended” until further notice due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The UCPA closed their offices as of noon yesterday, tweeting that “all enforcement is suspended until further [notice].”

The Jersey City Division of Parking has also announced that they will be suspending all parking regulations indefinitely.

The City of Union City has not announced any positive coronavirus tests as of 1:30 p.m. this afternoon and their municipal court, schools, and bars have been closed since last week.

The are currently 82 confirmed cases of COVID-19 throughout the county, along with one death, according to the Hudson County government’s website, which was updated within the past hour.
