U.S. Rep. Ro Khanna (CA-17) is endorsing former Jersey Board of Education President Mussab Ali for mayor, citing his record of community leadership and vision for progressive change.

“I’m proud to endorse Mussab Ali for Mayor of Jersey City. He represents exactly the kind of next-generation leadership we need—young, progressive, and deeply rooted in his community,” Khanna said in a statement.
“Mussab has already given more to Jersey City than most do in a lifetime, and he has my full support.”
Ali is in a five-person, non-partisan race on November 4th, which also includes former Gov. Jim McGreevey, Hudson County Commissioner Bill O’Dea (D-2), Council President Joyce Watterman, and Ward E Councilman James Solomon.
This is the second endorsement Ali has secured from outside New Jersey, with Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison supporting his mayoral ran back in February, as HCV first reported.
“I’m honored to have the support of Representative Khanna. He’s one of the few voices in Congress willing to stand up to powerful interests and fight for working people,” he added.
“Like him, I believe government should serve the public, not the political machine or the contractors who write the biggest checks. That’s exactly what I’ll fight for as mayor.”

It’s pathetic
Who cares what Ro thinks?
has he ever spent more than 15 minutes in Jersey City or any minutes at all?
