“The future plans of the Class of 2026 are a testament to their hard work, resilience, and determination,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Christine Johnson said in a statement.
“Whether our graduates are attending a four‑year university, beginning at a community college, pursuing a skilled trade, entering the workforce, or serving in the military, each pathway is a meaningful measure of success. We are incredibly proud of this class and confident they will continue to make meaningful contributions to their communities and the world.”
97 students, including one student appointed to the United States Naval Academy, will attend a four-year college or university, 13 students will go to two-year colleges, 18 students are enrolled at trade and technical programs, seven will participate in workforce entry, and one has enlisted in the military.
Collectively, the graduating class earned admission to more than 180 colleges and universities across the United States and internationally, securing over $24 million in merit scholarships and $75,000 in local awards.
Acceptances include Ivy League institutions, nationally ranked research universities, premier liberal arts colleges, flagship public universities, internationally recognized institutions, and respected career and technical programs.
Further, graduates will attend schools in New Jersey, along with nearly two dozen other states, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
