Lamparello, who begun working for the sheriff’s office in 2011, is a former sergeant for the county prosecutor’s office and was also a Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement (CALEA) expert for the FBI, according to his LinkedIn page.

In 2016, Lamparello’s salary was $113,142, on top of an annual pension of $61,548, but he has now decided to call it a career after about 33 years in law enforcement, sources said.

Lamparello was the undersheriff of the court bureau, while Undersheriff Andrew Conti oversees operations and Undersheriff Francine Shelton is in charge of administration.

Additionally, Bruce is the brother of Ralph Lamparello, a managing partner at the high-powered Secaucus law firm Chasan Lamparello Mallon & Cappuzzo, PC.

A spokesman for the sheriff’s office declined to comment.
