A young man in his mid-20’s was shot and killed in Jersey City last night, Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office spokesman Ray Worrall confirmed.Jersey City police

According to published reports, the victim was killed at approximately 500 Grand St., but Worrall could not confirm or deny any other additional details surrounding the fatal shooting.

The shooting death marks the 25th homicide in the county in 2016, as well the 21st in Jersey City.

  1. This is going to be the Fulop legacy. Just short of two murders a month and NOTHING is being done to stop crime in Jersey City. I can literally go weeks without seeing a cop in my neighborhood, yet my taxes keep going up. Unless you live in Newport, you shouldn’t expect anything in return for your tax dollars.Even up in the heights crime is simply out of control and unless you see the cops running in and out of the Central Avenue Station for coffee, don’t expect to see one anywhere else.
