The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating a dead woman’s body that was found in the lake of Lincoln Park in Jersey City early this morning and are releasing few other details at this time.

“Body of a female was found in water in Lincoln Park [Lake] this morning. No additional information at this time. More information to follow,” the HCPO tweeted about two hours ago.
Other officials contacted regarding the incident said they were contacted as early as 7 a.m. this morning to be informed of the ongoing investigation, but said they did not have any idea as to what had transpired at the park.
