Sean Lora, 42, of Bayonne, has been charged with three counts of sexual assault by contact, one county of aggravated criminal sexual contact and five counts of endangering the welfare of a child, Suarez said in a statement.
Yesterday at approximately 1:00 a.m., members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s
Special Victims Unit arrested Lora for allegedly sexually assaulting a student the day before.
On March 6th, a student reported an incident involving sexual touching by Lora that had
allegedly occurred in the classroom that day. After being alerted of the incident, the principal at P.S. No. 7 immediately contacted the Prosecutor’s SVU, authorities said.
The subsequent investigation by SVU detectives led to additional victims of the classroom
alleging similar past incidents.
There were a total of seven students in Lora’s classroom on March 6th when the incident allegedly occurred, officials said.
