Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez has identified the man who was shot to death in Jersey City on Thursday night, also revealing that a second victim was injured during the incident.

On December 1, Tyrone J. Wilson, age 26, of Jersey City sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his upper torso. A preliminary investigation found that Wilson was transported via a private vehicle to the Jersey City Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 11:40 p.m., Suarez said in a statement.
Jersey City police discovered there was a second victim of the shooting, who was found near the corner of Grand Prior Street. The second victim was shot once in a lower extremity, receiving treatment at the scene and later the Jersey City Medical Center, authorities said. The victimâ€™s condition is unknown at this time.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, which is being investigated by the Hudson CountyÂ Prosecutorâ€™s Homicide Unit with assistance from the Jersey City Police Department.
