Two men were arrested and nearly 92 grams of cocaine were seized as part of a Union City drug bust, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced.

Yesterday, following an investigation, members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s
Office Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at an apartment in Union City leading to the seizure of nearly 92 grams of cocaine, heroin and drug paraphernalia, Suarez said in a statement.
At approximately 5 a.m., officers arrested two individuals who were charged with various narcotics offenses.
The search warrant and narcotics seizures occurred at 1112 Palisade Ave., Unit 1A in Union City.
• Charlie Carmona, 34, of Union City, was charged with possession with intent to
distribute CDS (cocaine), possession with intent to distribute CDS (heroin), possession with intent to distribute CDS (cocaine) within 500 feet of a park, possession with intent to distribute CDS (heroin) within 500 feet of a park, possession with intent to distribute CDS (cocaine) within 1,00 feet of a school, possession with intent to distribute CDS (heroin) within 1,000 feet of a school, two counts of conspiracy to distribute CDS, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Javier Fong-Martinez, 30, of Union City, was charged with two counts of possession
with intent to distribute CDS (cocaine), possession with intent to distribute CDS (heroin), two counts of possession with intent to distribute CDS (cocaine) within 500 feet of a park, possession with intent to distribute CDS (heroin) within 500 feet of a park, two counts of possession with intent to distribute CDS (cocaine) within 1,00 feet of a school, possession with intent to distribute CDS (heroin) within 1,000 feet, two counts of conspiracy to distribute CDS, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Suarez credited the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force, the
Hudson County Regional SWAT Team and the Hudson County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit, with the investigation and arrests.
