Amandeep Tiwana, 27, of Flushing, New York, has been charged by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office with driving while intoxicated, assault by auto, and multiple motor vehicle offenses for an April 28th crash that left Siano in critical but stable condition.

Two Jersey City police officers were also treated for minor injuries, authorities said.

According to the HCPO, Siano and three Jersey City police officers were securing a crash scene and doing traffic control on Route 139 when, Tiwana – who was heading eastbound on the roadway – struck the median divider, a JCPD radio car, and Siano.
