Police: Victim stable after being shot twice outside Hoboken Housing Authority building

An unidentified victim is in stable condition after being shot twice outside a Hoboken Housing Authority building last night, police said.

There was a shooting in the area of 3rd and Harrison Streets at approximately 10:30 p.m. last night, according to Police Capt. Gino Jacobelli, who is a part of the Hoboken PD’s Investigations Bureau.

“A victim sustained two gunshot wounds from an unknown caliber weapon (believed to be a handgun) and was transported to a local area hospital where they are currently stable,” he said following an inquiry from HCV.

  1. That strip mall across from the HHA seems to be a haven for more than laundry and pizza. Cars driving slowly by as guys hang out under the awning there and walk up to the slow passing cars. Doing hand offs? Drug and Gun sales?

    Menendez and Stack love the HHA so they can get votes from those residents.

    Zimmer was right, we should have bulldozed those buildings.
