“On April 11 at approximately 4:00 a.m., 11 motor vehicles were damaged in the area of 73rd Street and Boulevard East. Two juveniles climbed on top of the vehicles and caused extensive damage by stomping on the windshields,” the North Bergen Police Department posted on Facebook.

“Through investigation it was learned that these same juveniles also damaged windshields of five other vehicles just a few blocks away in Guttenberg. North Bergen Police Detectives worked tirelessly with members of the Guttenberg Police Department and, because of that, the two juveniles involved in this incident were identified quickly.”

The post continued that the juveniles were each charged with “numerous counts” of criminal mischief and were given a date for their first appearance in court.

No additional information was immediately available.

  1. These upstanding young men, surely they’re honor students with untapped leadership potential, need to come back to New York. Especially once they turn 18. Here, we have compassion for victims of economic injustice. And besides, cars are bad. If those car owners were riding bikes, this would never have happened.
