Police: Teen arrested for knife possession after fist fight erupts at Buffalo Wild Wings in Secaucus

A teenager was arrested for knife possession after a fist fight erupted at Buffalo Wild Wings in Secaucus on Friday, Police Chief Dennis Miller said.

On Friday at approximately 7:29 p.m., Secaucus police responded to Buffalo Wild Wings, located at 470 Harmon Meadow Boulevard, on a report of a fight in progress, Miller said in a media release.

“One of the combatants stated he has past incidents with the other involved person and allegedly bullied and harassed him. One combatant stated he was approached in a threatening manner, who then punched him in the face with his fist,” Miller told HCV in an email.

“One of the involved parties stated the fight continued until they were separated by other patrons from the restaurant. It appears the two involved parties have a past history. One of the combatants went on to state that as he approached the other who punched him in the face with his fist and the physical fight continued.”

During the investigation, police arrested a 17-year-old from Belleville for unlawful possession of a weapon (knife) and he was subsequently released into the custody of a responsible adult.
