A West Virginia man punched a Secaucus gas station attendant in the face over a pay dispute last week, police said.

Christian Velasquez-Tempple, 52, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, was charged with aggravated assault on Friday, according to Police Capt. Dennis Miller.
On April 21st at about 2:33 p.m., police responded to the Sunoco Gas Station on Route 3 East after a call of an assault, officials said.
The investigation on scene found there had been a dispute on the amount owed on a gas purchase and Velasquez-Tempple punched the gas attendant in the face causing “significant bodily injury†to his nose, authorities said.
As a result, EMS was called to scene and transported the victim to the Meadowlands Hospital. Velasquez-Tempple was then released with a copy of his summons, police said.
