Yesterday at 10:18 a.m., Secaucus police stopped a Ford Taurus at the Red Roof Inn parking lot, 15 Meadowlands Parkway for having tinted windows. During the stop, an odor of raw marijuana was detected emanating from the vehicle, according to Police Capt. Dennis Miller.

A search of the vehicle uncovered several ounces of suspected marijuana, a loaded .45 caliber Glock handgun with loaded “high capacity” magazines, which contained both hollow point and full metal jacket ammunition, authorities said.

One handgun magazine can 13 rounds and the other can hold 40 rounds. Drug paraphernalia and a small amount of cash were also seized, officials said.

Additionally, the Glock handgun was found to be stolen from Fayetteville, NC.
