On Monday, May 8th, at approximately 3:11 a.m., Bayonne police officers responded to the area of the Royal Wine Corporation, 63 Lefante Way, on a report of a burglary and theft in progress, according to Police Lt. Daniel Murphy.

Prior to arriving, it was learned that the actors were fleeing the scene in an older model sedan, which was subsequently located by police responding to the scene.

A motor vehicle stop was conducted and officers were able to clearly see the proceeds in the back seat of the vehicle.

Anthony Buckhana, 41, and Kalil Fields, 29, both of Jersey City, were charged with burglary, theft, and criminal mischief.

With knowledge of two other burglary and theft incidents at this same location that occurred in April, members of the Bayonne Police Detective Bureau were able to link both Buckhana and Fields to those incidents as well and they were subsequently charged.
