A Hoboken woman punched and kicked police officers and EMS workers after a Lyft dispute on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

Linda Smith, 56, of Hoboken, has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, and resisting arrest, according to Det. Lt. Jonathan Mecka.
At approximately 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27th, Officers Tyrone Huggins, Anthony Olivera, and Nickolas Protopapadakis responded to 1st and Hudson Street on a reported taxi dispute.
During the on-scene investigation, Smith was identified as a potential intoxicated unruly Lyft passenger. During her interaction with police and EMS, she assaulted them by punching and kicking them.
She was arrested, her complaints were placed on a summons, and she was released from police custody after the arrest process was complete, authorities said.
