Police: Hoboken woman charged with attempted homicide for shooting outside housing authority

A Hoboken woman has been charged with attempted homicide for an incident outside a housing authority building where a victim was shot twice last week, police said.

Nikki Feola, 21, of Hoboken, was charged with criminal attempted homicide, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, and pointing a firearm, according to Police Det. Sgt. Jonathan Mecka.

On Wednesday, October 13th, at approximately 10:30 p.m. within the courtyard of 311 Harrison St., there were multiple shots fired by two shooters, resulting in one victim being struck by two rounds, as HCV first reported.

The victim is currently still recovering from his injuries. On Saturday, October 16th the Hoboken Police Department charged Feola with the aforementioned charges.

The following week, Wednesday, October 20th, Feola turned herself in to the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office, where she was processed then transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility, authorities said.
