Police: Fairview man busted for pulling knife during road rage incident in Secaucus

A Fairview man was busted for pulling a knife during a road rage incident in Secaucus last week, Police Chief Dennis Miller announced.

On Friday, June 28th at approximately 6:54 p.m., the Secaucus Police Department responded to the area of 101 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a road rage incident, Miller said in a statement.

During the investigation, Josue Corea, 37, of Fairview, was charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose (a knife) and unlawful possession of a weapon.

The ncident occurred in the area of Paterson Plank Road and Plaza Drive. During the incident, Corea allegedly brandished a knife. The suspect’s vehicle was stopped by the North Bergen Police Department on Paterson Plank Road near West Side Avenue.

During a search of the vehicle’s trunk officers located a 7-inch Ned Foss SA78 fixed blade knife. As a result, Corea was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility, authorities said.
