Kim Rolon, 50, of Bayonne, was charged with driving while intoxicated and illegal use/influence of a controlled dangerous substance (heroin), according to Police Sgt. Lauren Brattole.
At around 9:25 a.m., officers conducted a motor vehicle stop while Rolon was driving a Mercury Sable. Once she exited the vehicle, she was “unsteady on her feet, her speech was slurred and her eyes were pinpointed,” authorities said.
The woman was transported to the Bayonne Medical Center to receive treatment and was eventually released on a summons, officials said.
