Police: Bayonne police investigating incident where apartment robbed, car stolen

The Bayonne Police Department is investigating an incident where an apartment was “ransacked” by three unknown males before stealing a victim’s car.

On Sunday around 8:55 a.m., officers responded to a residence on Stanley Avenue on a report of a burglary and theft, according to Police Lt. Eric Amato.

During the investigation and upon speaking to the 28-year-old male victim and 19-year-old female victim, it was determined that three unknown males subdued the victims and ransacked the apartment, removing several items of personal property, authorities said.

The actors then stole the male victim’s vehicle and fled the scene. This incident remains an active investigation.
