A man walked to the Hoboken University Medical Center early Saturday morning after being shot in Jersey City, a city spokeswoman confirmed.

“Jersey City police are investigating a reported shooting at Tonnelle Avenue and Manhattan Avenue from approximately 4 a.m. Saturday,” Jersey City spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill said in an email.
She added that the incident was reported by a victim who was shot and walked to Hoboken University Medical Center for treatment, though authorities were unable to identify a crime scene upon arrival.
No other details were immediately available and the investigation into the matter is ongoing, Morrill also said.
