“I would like to congratulate these Firefighters on their promotion to captain,” said Weehawken Mayor/NHRFR Chair Richard Turner.

“It is a difficult and dangerous job that these individuals do. I am so grateful for their selfless service to our community.”

The four firefighters that were promoted were Christopher Larkin, Alain Amaro, Joseph MacLachlan and Alexander Gonzalez.

“This is a culmination of all of the hard work and bravery of these men,” added NHRFR Chief Frank Montagne.

“The leadership of these four individuals is unparalleled and I am confident that they will make excellent captains.”

NHRF&R is a joint operation that incorporates the six North Hudson municipalities of North Bergen, Guttenberg, Union City, Weehawken and West New York.
