North Bergen will offer three hours of free metered parking from Monday, December 18th through Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024, with metered parking regulations resuming the following day, the township wrote on their website.

“Mayor Nicholas Sacco & the Township Commissioners and Executive Director Robert Baselice & the Parking Authority send their best wishes to everyone for a happy holiday season.”

Similarly, West New York is offering two hours of free metered parking, beginning one week ago, and running through January 2nd for all on-street parking, town officials said.

  1. WNY should stop the aggressive ticketing during the night time hours. Ticket agents are really killing us if we park a little bit in a yellow curb. Its obvious the ticket agents are on a ticket blitz and town gave the orders.
Shame on you WNY and board of commissioners.
